Role Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at Peterborough Airport. This position is responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across a diverse fleet of aircraft, ensuring compliance with Transport Canada regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with approved data and procedures.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems to ensure aircraft readiness.
- Document all work performed in compliance with Transport Canada and company requirements.
- Collaborate with fellow AMEs and support departments to maintain operational efficiency.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, and productivity.
Qualifications
- Legal right to work in Canada
- Valid Transport Canada AME “M” license.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and maintenance manuals.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
