Aircraft Structural Technicians (AME-S) 

Work Hours 

Modified work week with 10.5-hour shifts, four days on and three days off. Current schedules: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM; Tuesday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. 

Location 

Various work locations, with the ability to travel to customer locations as required.

Responsibilities 

  • Perform aircraft structural maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities. 

  • Complete work orders and repair documentation accurately. 

  • Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineers. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned by maintenance leadership. 

Qualifications & Assets 

  • Valid AME-S licence. 

  • Minimum two years of sheet metal structures experience. 

  • Strong commitment to safety. 

  • Ability to perform advanced sheet metal repairs. 

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills. 

  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment. 

  • Flexibility to work varying schedules. 

  • Ability to perform physically demanding work. 

  • Understanding of metallic structures and metal properties. 

  • Ability to lead and mentor apprentices. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience working on DHC-2, DHC-3(T), or DHC-6 aircraft. 

  • Aircraft manufacturing experience.
