Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME M2) – Boeing 737 Line Maintenance (YYZ)
Summary
Transport Canada–licensed AME M2 responsible for performing line maintenance on the Boeing 737 fleet (NG/MAX ) at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ). Ensures safe, compliant, and efficient aircraft turnaround in accordance with Transport Canada CARs, company MPM/MEL procedures, and Boeing maintenance documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily inspections, transit checks, service checks, and routine line‑maintenance tasks on Boeing 737 aircraft.
- Conduct troubleshooting and defect rectification across airframe, powerplant, avionics, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Execute MEL procedures, including deferrals, placarding, and accurate logbook entries in compliance with TC regulations.
- Replace and test LRUs, including avionics modules, sensors, actuators, wheels/brakes, igniters, and other line‑replaceable components.
- Use AMM, FIM, TSM, SRM, IPC, and digital maintenance systems to perform and document all work.
- Coordinate with flight crews, MCC, dispatch, and operations to support safe, on‑time departures and rapid troubleshooting during turnarounds.
- Apply SMS principles, human‑factors awareness, and airside safety protocols at all times.
- Complete technical records and sign‑offs under AME license privileges.
- Support AOG recovery, ramp troubleshooting, and irregular operations as required.
- Follow YYZ airside safety rules, WHMIS, and company quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Transport Canada AME License – M2.
- Boeing 737 type training NG/MAX) or significant 737 line‑maintenance experience.
- Ability to work shift work, including nights, weekends, and irregular operations.
- Familiarity with digital maintenance systems (AMOS, TRAX, RAAS Maintenix, or similar).
- Eligibility for RAIC and airside driver’s permit at YYZ.
