We are seeking an experienced Avionics Systems Engineer to support a high-profile aircraft programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to work remotely while contributing to a technically challenging and rewarding engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support avionics systems design and integration in alignment with EASA/FAA certification requirements (focus on CS-25 aircraft).
Develop certification plans and test strategies tailored to project-specific needs.
Create and review detailed design documentation, system schematics, and integration plans.
Plan, execute, and document test activities to validate avionics systems.
Write substantiation reports and safety assessments to support regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, certifiable engineering outputs.
Key Requirements
Strong hands-on experience in avionics systems engineering.
In-depth knowledge of EASA/FAA certification, especially CS-25 aircraft.
Proven track record preparing certification documents and compliance evidence.
Familiarity with relevant industry standards:
DO-178C (Software)
DO-254 (Hardware)
ARP4754A (Systems Development)
ARP4761 (Safety Assessment - Preferred)
Ability to work autonomously, managing certification artefacts with minimal supervision.
Experience with various aircraft platforms and complex system integrations is highly advantageous.
