Mechanical Test Laboratory Technician required to work for a leading advanced composite aero-structures manufacturing facility

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work as Mechanical Test Laboratory Technician, performing various tasks including :
- Prepare test samples according to approved work instructions
- Perform mechanical testing (e.g. tensile, compression, machining, etc.)
- Operate laboratory and testing equipment (e.g. autoclave, CNC, UTM, etc.)
- Ensure all testing is conducted in line with safety and quality standards
- Monitor and maintain equipment calibration and functionality
- Record test results, maintain logs, and prepare reports
- Follow strict procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Support laboratory documentation and reporting
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of laboratory or mechanical testing experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with mechanical testing equipment / machinery
- Ability to read and follow technical procedures and specifications
- Basic understanding of HSE / safety procedures
- Familiarity with SAP / LIMS is an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Experience in mechanical testing (tensile, compression, CAI, etc.)
- Experience operating equipment such as CNC, autoclave, or machining tools
- Based in the UAE
- Laboratory environment
- Shift work required (day/night rotation)
- May involve handling equipment and materials
