Are you a Thermal Spray specialist with leadership experience looking to take ownership of a high-performing coating operation?
We're seeking an experienced Thermal Spray & Coating Manager to lead a specialist surface engineering department delivering critical coating solutions into Aerospace, Gas Turbine, Power Generation, Defence and Industrial sectors.
This is a rare opportunity to combine technical expertise with operational leadership, driving production performance, quality standards and continuous improvement across a specialist thermal spray facility.
The Role
Reporting to senior management, you will:
- • Lead all Thermal Spray and Coating operations
- Manage production output, quality and delivery performance
- Develop, validate and approve coating procedures and spray parameters
- Drive process improvement and operational efficiency
- Lead process qualification and first article activities
- Oversee laboratory and coating inspection activities
- Manage technician training, competency and development
- Conduct technical reviews of customer specifications and requirements
- Support customer audits and technical meetings
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards
We Are Looking For
Experience in one or more of:
- HVOF
- Plasma Spray
- Arc Spray
- Flame Spray
- Spray & Fuse Coatings
Industry backgrounds that would be ideal:
- Aerospace MRO
- Gas Turbine Repair
- Surface Engineering
- Power Generation
- Defence Manufacturing
- Industrial Coatings
- Precision Engineering
