EASA B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer / FAA A&P Mechanic – Line Maintenance (B777 / B787 / A350)

EASA B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer / FAA A&P Mechanic required to work for a leading aviation maintenance and engineering services company.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work as an EASA B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer / FAA A&P Mechanic, performing a range of duties including:

  • Performing line maintenance activities on B777, B787, and A350 aircraft.
  • Conducting transit, daily, service, and overnight maintenance checks.
  • Troubleshooting and rectifying mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and avionics defects.
  • Carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in accordance with approved technical data.
  • Completing all maintenance documentation accurately and in compliance with FAA, EASA, and company requirements.
  • Supporting Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery efforts to ensure minimal operational disruption.
  • Ensuring all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with regulatory and safety standards.
  • Collaborating with Maintenance Control, Engineering, Operations, and Flight Crew to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance at all times.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Valid EASA Part-66 B1 License.
  • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
  • Demonstrated experience on at least one of the following aircraft types:
    • Boeing 777
    • Boeing 787
    • Airbus A350
  • Minimum 5 years’ commercial aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Proven line maintenance experience on wide-body aircraft.
  • Strong troubleshooting and defect rectification capabilities.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, engineering documentation, and maintenance procedures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
  • Must hold legal authorisation to work in the United States (no sponsorship available).

Desirable Requirements

  • Multiple aircraft type ratings across B777, B787, or A350.
  • ETOPS maintenance experience.
  • Engine run and taxi authorisations.
  • Previous experience with international airlines or MRO organisations.
  • Experience within high-tempo, high-volume line maintenance environments.
