Full‑time Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – YVR
A Full‑time Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (M2) is required to work for a leading aviation maintenance organization.
This is an excellent opportunity based in YVR (Vancouver) to join an established aircraft line maintenance services company, offering competitive compensation and the chance to contribute to operations across multiple aircraft types.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work as a Full‑time Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, performing tasks including:
- Carry out line maintenance activities (daily checks, weekly checks, and service checks) across various aircraft types
- Perform additional maintenance work as required by Inspection Instructions, Airworthiness Directives, and Service Bulletins
- Record and sign off all completed work on the applicable Maintenance Control forms
- Execute additional assigned duties as directed by the supervisor or manager
- Track and plan maintenance activities; coordinate with Dispatch as needed
Mandatory Requirements
- Valid Transport Canada M2 AME License (A320 experience preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of licensed AME experience; line maintenance experience an asset
- Familiarity with MPM, MCM, aircraft operations specifications, and all manuals required for performing assigned duties
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong organizational skills; proactive, results‑oriented, and committed to continuous improvement
- Airport Security Clearance (RAIC) and AVOP considered an asset
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on operational requirements
Desirable Requirements
- Previous experience performing line maintenance on A320 family aircraft
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Previous experience in a high‑tempo maintenance environment
