Full‑time Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – YVR

A Full‑time Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (M2) is required to work for a leading aviation maintenance organization.
This is an excellent opportunity based in YVR (Vancouver) to join an established aircraft line maintenance company, while being rewarded with a competitive package and the chance to support operations across multiple aircraft types.


Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work as a Full‑time Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, performing various tasks including:

  • Carry out line maintenance (daily, weekly, service checks) on various aircraft types
  • Perform additional aircraft work in accordance with Inspection Instructions, Airworthiness Directives, and Service Bulletins
  • Ensure all work items are properly recorded and signed on the applicable Maintenance Control forms
  • Perform any other assigned duties as directed by the supervisor or manager
  • Track and plan maintenance activities and coordinate with Dispatch as needed

Mandatory Requirements

  • Hold a valid Transport Canada M2 AME License (Boeing B787 experience preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of licensed AME experience; line maintenance experience considered an asset
  • Familiarity with MPM, MCM, aircraft operations specifications, and relevant maintenance manuals
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills; proactive and results‑oriented
  • Airport Security Clearance (RAIC) and AVOP an asset
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on operational needs

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience with wide‑body aircraft, especially B787
  • Previous airside experience at major Canadian airports
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities
