AIRCRAFT PAINTER
Aircraft Painter required to work for a leading aviation maintenance and refurbishment company.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work as an Aircraft Painter, performing various tasks including:
- Stripping, cleaning, and preparing aircraft surfaces for refinishing
- Sanding, masking, and preparing surfaces for spray application
- Applying primers, base coats, and finishing coats using spray painting techniques
- Cleaning and preparing composite, fiberglass, and metal surfaces
- Removing and reapplying sealants (PRC) as required
- Performing detailed touch-up and corrective paint work
- Masking and protecting aircraft components during paint operations
- Inspecting paint finishes and identifying quality defects
- Completing work documentation and maintaining quality records
- Supporting team members and carrying out additional duties as assigned
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company procedures
Mandatory Requirements
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of spray painting experience
- Experience with industrial, automotive, or aircraft spray painting
- Experience with sanding, masking, surface preparation, and priming
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- Ability to work at heights
- Understanding of workplace safety procedures
- Willingness to work in environments involving chemicals, dust, and confined spaces
Desirable Requirements
- Previous aircraft painting experience
- Fiberglass sanding experience
- Experience with composite and metal surface treatments
- Masking, prepping, detailing, or custom paint work experience
- WHMIS Training
- Human Factors Training
- Experience working within aviation or highly regulated industries
