Lead AME Supervisor – YYZ

A Lead AME Supervisor is required to work for a leading aviation maintenance organization.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work as a Lead AME Supervisor, performing various tasks including:

  • Lead, direct and motivate an assigned team of up to 12 AMEs
  • Communicate thoroughly with customer MOC; schedule and conduct maintenance tasks in accordance with customer policies and procedures
  • Complete supervisor handovers to maintain operational consistency
  • Maintain employee shift schedules and daily work orders in Bi2
  • Work closely with the PRM and QA Manager to ensure all training standards meet CARs compliance
  • Ensure all paperwork and logbook entries are complete and accurate
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment
  • Promote company policies and procedures as defined in MPM and QCP documents
  • Revise existing procedures and develop new processes to enhance safety, efficiency and operational knowledge
  • Participate in regular departmental meetings
  • Actively participate in the company SMS, including hazard/incident reporting and promoting safety policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance

Mandatory Requirements

  • Valid Transport Canada AME M2 license with a minimum of three endorsements
    (B737NG/MAX, B777, B787, A320 CEO/NEO, A330 CEO/NEO, A350 preferred)
  • Previous AME Lead/Supervisor experience with demonstrated ability to lead a team
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Office, Bi2)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent planning and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience working within a high‑volume line maintenance environment
  • Additional aircraft type endorsements
  • Previous involvement in auditing, QA functions or SMS initiatives
