AME M2 – Dash 8 Q400

AME M2 – Dash 8 Q400 required to work for a leading aviation MRO company. This is an excellent opportunity based in Canada to join an established aircraft maintenance organisation, whilst being rewarded with a competitive package and career development within a modern heavy maintenance environment.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work as an AME M2 – Dash 8 Q400, performing various tasks including:

Performing heavy maintenance checks including C-checks, structural inspections, and overhaul activities
Completing major component removals and installations
Carrying out cabin, structural, and systems maintenance work
Certifying maintenance in accordance with Transport Canada regulations
Ensuring aircraft are maintained and released in an airworthy condition
Conducting structural inspections, corrosion control, and repairs
Performing disassembly and reassembly of aircraft systems and components
Supporting work on PW150A engines and Dowty R408 propellers
Maintaining and repairing flight controls, landing gear, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Troubleshooting defects and performing rectifications using approved data
Coordinating with engineering teams for repair schemes where required
Completing and certifying maintenance documentation in compliance with AMO procedures and manuals (AMM, SRM, IPC)
Ensuring compliance with Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and Service Bulletins (SBs)
Supporting MRO operations, production schedules, and quality standards

Mandatory Requirements

Valid Transport Canada AME M2 License
Proven experience within a heavy maintenance / MRO environment
Strong understanding of Transport Canada regulatory requirements
Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and engineering documentation
Desirable Requirements

Dash 8 Q400 type endorsement or equivalent experience
Strong knowledge of aircraft structures and repair techniques
Experience working within structured heavy maintenance programs
