Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Evacuation Slide Technician to support the overhaul and maintenance of evacuation slides, life rafts, and related components. The successful candidate will have experience working with pressurized systems, composite materials, and fabric repairs, with a strong commitment to safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overhaul and inspect evacuation slides, life rafts, pressurized cylinders, and regulators.
- Perform hydrostatic testing (HST) on pressurized bottles.
- Disassemble, clean, test, and reassemble various components and accessories.
- Fold and pack evacuation slides into compartments.
- Repair composite compartments and fabrics.
- Follow all Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S), Ethics, Trade Compliance, and HR regulations.
- Support other maintenance activities in the Components department when required.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Skilled in using computer systems such as SAP and MS Office.
- Available for overtime, including extended workdays and weekends.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills.
- Must follow EH&S policies, wear appropriate PPE, and attend required training.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Prior experience working as an Evacuation Slide Technician, especially in the UAE.
