My client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of of smart metering products and solutions that are primarily aimed towards the residential market. They develop and supply various metering devices, including ultrasonic water meters, smart gas meters, and equipment for electricity consumption information collection.

The Role:

My Client is looking to recruit an experienced Sales Manager to join their team and they are open to applications from candidates in the UK and Europe who have a background selling smart metering products and solutions into the residential marketplace.

In this role you would be responsible for the following...

  • Develop Residential Sales Strategy: Formulate and implement a cohesive B2C sales strategy focused on maximising the adoption and installation rate of smart meters within the defined residential service area.

  • Target Setting and Forecasting: Set individual and team sales targets (e.g., weekly/monthly installations, lead conversion rates) and provide accurate, data-driven sales forecasts to senior leadership.

  • Market Analysis: Monitor residential energy trends, competitor activities, and regional demographics to refine sales tactics and identify untapped residential market segments.

  • Campaign Execution: Plan and execute targeted sales campaigns, including door-to-door initiatives, local events, and telesales promotions, to drive mass-market smart meter sign-ups.

To be considered for this role you will have a proven and successful track record in a similar sales position where you will have been selling smart metering products and solutions into the residential marketplace.
