Our leading client is seeking a Technical Safety Engineer to strengthen their Safety Management System (SMS), ensure compliance, and embed a strong safety culture across operations.
The Role
Support and maintain the company's Safety Management System.
Lead investigations for Occurrence Reporting & prepare Technical Occurrence Reports.
Promote Safety Culture, Hazard Identification & Risk Assessments.
Conduct Safety Audits and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.
Collaborate with staff, customers, and authorities to ensure accountability and transparency.
Recommend corrective and preventative actions, ensuring follow-through and verification.
Duties & Responsibilities
Collect and analyze information on reported occurrences.
Conduct staff interviews and participate in Root Cause Analysis.
Communicate findings clearly to customers and authorities (TORs/MORs).
Monitor safety performance, identify hazards, and verify mitigation measures.
Encourage voluntary reporting and proactive safety initiatives.
Support environmental protection and sustainability programs.
Review and recommend updates to Safety & Quality Manuals.
Prepare safety reports, audits, and statistical analyses.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Aviation / Engineering or valid B1/B2 License.
Minimum 2 years' aviation industry experience.
Solid knowledge of EASA / FAA / CARC / GCAA / GACA Part-145 regulations.
Experience in auditing and surveillance procedures.
Understanding of Safety Risk Management principles (advantageous).
Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of QPulse, EmpowerMX, AirVault, AirNavX, MyBoeingFleet (preferred).
