We are seeking an experienced Supervisor - AC & Engines

To lead and coordinate aircraft and engine maintenance operations within a busy MRO environment. Reporting to the Operations Manager (Airframe), you will be responsible for supervising maintenance teams, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with technical, quality, and customer requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional with strong leadership skills and a background in aircraft or engine overhaul, repair, testing, and production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate all aircraft and engine maintenance activities.
  • Plan and allocate daily workloads to ensure operational priorities are met.
  • Ensure maintenance is completed in accordance with technical manuals, SOPs, customer requirements, and safety regulations.
  • Oversee inspections, repairs, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance documentation.
  • Monitor work orders, turnaround times, and production schedules.
  • Lead and support supervisors and technicians, ensuring a skilled and well-trained workforce.
  • Conduct daily production meetings and toolbox talks.
  • Ensure tools, equipment, and maintenance records are accurately controlled and accounted for.
  • Monitor maintenance performance, identify process improvements, and resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and health & safety standards.
  • Act as the Operations Manager in their absence when required.
Requirements
  • Technical aircraft or engine maintenance diploma or Level 9 Certified Technician.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in aircraft and/or engine assembly, overhaul, repair, testing, troubleshooting, production, or maintenance supervision.
  • Previous experience supervising technicians within an MRO or aviation maintenance environment.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft and engine maintenance processes and technical documentation.
  • Experience planning workloads, managing production, and meeting turnaround times.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Oracle maintenance system experience is advantageous.
  • Good written and spoken English (minimum IELTS Band 5.5).

Desirable
  • Experience within military aircraft maintenance operations.
  • Knowledge of engine preparation, testing, preservation, and technical instruction interpretation.
  • Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives within a maintenance organisation.
