Overview
An established engineering services organisation in Dubai is seeking a QHSE Advisor to support workshop and field operations. This opportunity is well suited to candidates with experience in rotating equipment (turbines, pumps, compressors) within regulated, safety-critical industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain QHSE systems aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Investigate incidents and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Promote a strong safety culture through training and toolbox talks.
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and client QHSE requirements.
- Assist with quality processes including documentation reviews and ITPs.
- Monitor environmental performance and reporting.
- Track and report QHSE KPIs.
- Degree in Engineering, HSE, Environmental Science, or similar.
- 3+ years’ QHSE experience in engineering, oil & gas, aviation, or nuclear sectors.
- Exposure to rotating equipment (turbines, pumps, compressors) is advantageous.
- Working knowledge of ISO standards and regulatory compliance.
- NEBOSH IGC (or equivalent) – desirable, not essential.
- Strong auditing, inspection, and incident investigation skills.
- Clear communicator with the ability to influence behaviours on-site.
- Detail-focused with solid reporting capability.
- Proactive mindset toward risk reduction and continuous improvement.
- AS9100 knowledge – advantageous, particularly for aviation backgrounds.
