QA/QC Aircraft Inspector (A&P) –
QA/QC Aircraft Inspector required to work for a leading aviation maintenance and repair organisation.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work as a QA/QC Aircraft Inspector (A&P), performing various tasks including:

  • Performing in-process and final inspections on aircraft under assembly, repair, or modification
  • Conducting detailed visual inspections to ensure quality and workmanship standards are met
  • Ensuring all maintenance is performed in accordance with FAA regulations, Repair Station Manual (RSM), and OEM manuals
  • Reviewing documentation and maintenance records to support Return to Service (RTS) approvals
  • Making airworthiness determinations and approving articles for RTS
  • Determining part approvals and identifying major vs minor repairs or alterations
  • Ensuring maintenance activities comply with Part 135 AAIP or CAMP programs where applicable
  • Verifying correct tooling is used and calibration requirements are met
  • Monitoring adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Communicating effectively with Leads and Service Managers regarding work orders
  • Supporting technicians and stepping in with hands-on duties where required
  • Ensuring all completed work meets or exceeds original or properly altered condition standards

Mandatory Requirements

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification
  • Minimum 5 years of general aviation maintenance experience
  • Strong working knowledge of FAA regulations (FARs)
  • Ability to inspect and approve aircraft and components for airworthiness
  • Experience reviewing maintenance documentation and compliance records
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to obtain airport security clearance (badge)
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

Desirable Requirements

  • Previous experience in a QA/QC or Aircraft Inspector role
  • Experience working on aircraft such as Gulfstream, Dassault Falcon, King Air, Cessna, Piper, or Pilatus
  • Experience in a Part 135 or similar regulated environment
  • Strong decision-making skills relating to airworthiness and compliance
