Mould Maker – Motorsport Composites
Mould Maker required to work for a leading motorsport composites manufacturer in Italy.
This is an excellent opportunity based in Italy to join a well-established company within the motorsport and advanced composites sector, while benefiting from a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to work on high-profile projects.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work as a Mould Maker, carrying out a range of tasks including:
- Manufacturing high-quality composite moulds for motorsport components.
- Preparing, assembling and finishing moulds to exact specifications.
- Repairing, modifying and maintaining existing tooling.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and engineering specifications.
- Ensuring all tooling meets quality and dimensional standards.
- Working closely with laminators and production teams to meet project deadlines.
Mandatory Requirements
- Previous experience as a Mould Maker within the composites industry.
- Experience producing composite tooling to a high standard.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Right to work in the EU or eligibility to work in Italy.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience within motorsport, Formula 1 or high-performance automotive.
- Knowledge of carbon fibre composite manufacturing processes.
- Experience with tooling repairs and modifications.
- Good communication skills in English; Italian is an advantage.
Additional Information
- Start Date: ASAP.
- Contract: 6-month contract with the possibility of extension.
- Pay Rate: €30 per hour.
- Opportunity to work on exciting, cutting-edge motorsport projects.
- Overtime may be available depending on project requirements.
