Key Account Manager – Aviation MRO

The Opportunity

Our client, a well-established Part-145 MRO organisation based in the Middle East, is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join their commercial team. This is a high-impact role responsible for managing a portfolio of key aviation clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery while driving revenue growth and long-term partnerships.

The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for demanding customers, balancing operational delivery with commercial performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of key airline and aviation clients

  • Act as the main interface between the customer and internal operational teams

  • Ensure successful delivery of maintenance projects in line with contractual commitments

  • Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and commercial discussions

  • Identify and drive upselling opportunities and contract variations

  • Monitor project performance, timelines, and customer satisfaction

  • Resolve customer issues proactively, ensuring a high level of service delivery

  • Collaborate with internal departments (engineering, planning, finance, compliance) to meet client expectations

  • Prepare commercial reports, forecasts, and account performance reviews

  • Support business development initiatives and contribute to overall growth strategy


Requirements

  • Proven experience in Key Account Management within aviation, ideally MRO or airline environment

  • Strong understanding of Part-145 operations and maintenance processes

  • Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation and commercial management

  • Ability to manage multiple high-value, demanding clients simultaneously

  • Strong stakeholder management across operational and executive levels

  • Willingness to be based in or relocate to the Middle East
