Key Account Manager – Aviation MRO

The Opportunity
Our client, a well-established Part-145 MRO organisation based in the Middle East, is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join their commercial team. This is a high-impact role responsible for managing a portfolio of key aviation clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery while driving revenue growth and long-term partnerships.
The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for demanding customers, balancing operational delivery with commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of key airline and aviation clients

Act as the main interface between the customer and internal operational teams

Ensure successful delivery of maintenance projects in line with contractual commitments

Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and commercial discussions

Identify and drive upselling opportunities and contract variations
-
Monitor project performance, timelines, and customer satisfaction

Resolve customer issues proactively, ensuring a high level of service delivery

Collaborate with internal departments (engineering, planning, finance, compliance) to meet client expectations

Prepare commercial reports, forecasts, and account performance reviews

Support business development initiatives and contribute to overall growth strategy
Requirements

Proven experience in Key Account Management within aviation, ideally MRO or airline environment

Strong understanding of Part-145 operations and maintenance processes

Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation and commercial management

Ability to manage multiple high-value, demanding clients simultaneously

Strong stakeholder management across operational and executive levels

Willingness to be based in or relocate to the Middle East
