Commercial Manager – Sales Operations (Aviation) ✈️

Our client is looking for a Commercial Manager with a strong commercial background in aviation to drive sales operations and proposal excellence. MRO experience is a plus, but we’re flexible for the right candidate. You’ll support the VP Commercial day-to-day, lead the Sales Support team, and coordinate across departments to get things done.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead, coach, and manage the Sales Support and Coordination teams.

  • Own the end-to-end RFP and proposal process, ensuring timely, accurate, and profitable submissions.

  • Coordinate internal inputs from Engineering, Planning, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Customer Support.

  • Track all leads, opportunities, and customer requests in the CRM and ensure proper follow-up.

  • Support VP Commercial in implementing sales strategies, campaigns, and account plans.

  • Maintain dashboards, sales reports, and pipeline data for senior management.

  • Enforce commercial processes, approvals, and documentation standards.

  • Drive smooth handovers to Operations and Customer Support while ensuring customer satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong commercial experience in aviation; MRO experience preferred but not mandatory.

  • 8–15 years in commercial roles, preferably with RFP, tender, or proposal management.

  • Experience leading or coaching small teams.

  • Strong understanding of pricing, margins, and risk assessment.

  • Hands-on with CRM systems and pipeline management.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Languages: Arabic (professional), English (professional, written and spoken).

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience).
