Cabin Fumigation Technician
Cabin Fumigation Technician required to work for a leading UAE aviation company in the UAE
This is an excellent opportunity based in UAE to join an established aviation company, whilst being rewarded with a competitive package.
Responsibilities
The Cabin Fumigation technician is responsible for all Pest Control and Fumigation activities in all Etihad Fleet and partner air lines. Ensure that all Etihad aircraft are compliant in all regulatory requirements for Aircraft Disinsection and Pest Control.
Mandatory Requirements
Plan accordingly all the scheduled Pest Control task raised by the Etihad Fleet Planning Department and Line & Light Maintenance.
Ensures all work is carried out within the scope of approval and in accordance with the AMM, TPM and SOP.
Ensure all Pest Control Chemicals are demanded and utilized on each Routine cards, Non Routine cards that are planned for the task. Un-used chemicals to be returned to stores as IYR.
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance using the approved tooling and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Undertakes any additional Pest Control task assigned by Etihad Planning Department and Line & Light Maintenance department.
Ensure all EY Fleet have valid Residual Disinesction Certificates CRD QA 971 and expiration monitored. Alerts Etihad Planning department if any certificates near to expiry
Ensure all completed Pest Control task documentation are completed in accordance with the TPM and aircraft documentation procedures
Ensure all fumigation NRs called up by OMPC within his bay are actioned and the engineer is informed. Ensures all completed Pest Control task are reported on shift reports and files updated on CFT related systems. (ADI Site and Share file folder)
Practice Housekeeping on all completed task on board the aircraft and facilities
Familiar with, enforce and follow procedures stipulated in the Safety and Quality Management Manual and become an active participant in the workplace safety program.
Accepts appropriate training that will enable more effective contribution to the operation. (E-learning and other trainings provided by Etihad Technical Training)
Encourages colleagues by being actively involved in the promotion of positive reporting culture.
