B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineers – Doha, Qatar

We are currently seeking experienced B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineers (LAEs) for opportunities based in Doha, Qatar.

The successful candidates will perform aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting and defect rectification within a busy base maintenance environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled base maintenance on aircraft avionics and electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify defects affecting communication, navigation, radar, autopilot and other electronic systems.
  • Conduct aircraft inspections, operational checks and system testing.
  • Complete modifications, repairs and upgrades to aircraft avionics equipment.
  • Accurately complete and certify maintenance documentation within the scope of licence privileges.
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable airworthiness regulations, safety standards and company procedures.
  • Coordinate with engineering, technical support and other maintenance departments.
  • Support the timely completion of maintenance inputs and aircraft return-to-service targets.

Essential Requirements

  • Valid B2 Aircraft Maintenance Licence, preferably EASA Part-66 or an equivalent licence recognised by the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority.
  • Proven base maintenance experience is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two type ratings endorsed on the licence from the following aircraft types:
    • Airbus A320
    • Airbus A350
    • Airbus A380
    • Boeing B777
    • Boeing B787
  • Recent and demonstrable maintenance and certification experience on the endorsed aircraft types.
  • Strong avionics, electrical and aircraft-system troubleshooting experience.
  • Good understanding of aircraft maintenance documentation and airworthiness regulations.
  • Ability to work shifts and operate effectively within a multicultural maintenance environment.
  • Willingness to relocate to Doha, Qatar.

Please note: Applicants who do not have base maintenance experience and at least two of the listed aircraft type ratings endorsed on their licence will not be considered.
