Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair IFE hardware and software, including passenger displays, servers, control units, cabling, and related components.
- Diagnose and rectify faults related to audio, video, and connectivity systems, including onboard networks and passenger interface units.
- Perform line maintenance tasks to support aircraft dispatch and serviceability.
- Support base maintenance activities during scheduled checks and heavy maintenance inputs.
- Carry out all work in accordance with approved maintenance manuals, regulatory requirements, and company procedures.
- Accurately complete technical documentation, work cards, and maintenance records.
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and housekeeping in the working environment.
Requirements
- Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance, vocational aviation qualification, or relevant electrical/electronic engineering discipline.
- Proven experience working with aircraft systems, avionics, or IFE systems.
- Strong understanding of electronics, aircraft wiring, and fault-finding techniques.
- Ability to interpret maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Experience on commercial aircraft (Boeing and/or Airbus) preferred.
- Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends where required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
