We are seeking an experienced IFE (In-Flight Entertainment) Mechanic to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of aircraft in-flight entertainment and connectivity systems. This role involves working across both line maintenance and base maintenance environments on modern commercial aircraft, ensuring systems are fully serviceable and compliant with approved maintenance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair IFE hardware and software, including passenger displays, servers, control units, cabling, and related components.
- Diagnose and rectify faults related to audio, video, and connectivity systems, including onboard networks and passenger interface units.
- Perform line maintenance tasks to support aircraft dispatch and serviceability.
- Support base maintenance activities during scheduled checks and heavy maintenance inputs.
- Carry out all work in accordance with approved maintenance manuals, regulatory requirements, and company procedures.
- Accurately complete technical documentation, work cards, and maintenance records.
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and housekeeping in the working environment.
Requirements
- Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance, vocational aviation qualification, or relevant electrical/electronic engineering discipline.
- Proven experience working with aircraft systems, avionics, or IFE systems.
- Strong understanding of electronics, aircraft wiring, and fault-finding techniques.
- Ability to interpret maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Experience on commercial aircraft (Boeing and/or Airbus) preferred.
- Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends where required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
