B1 / B1+B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer – Italy

B1 / B1+B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineers required to work for a leading commercial aviation maintenance organisation in Italy.

This is an excellent opportunity based in Rome (location flexible and open for discussion) to join an established airline maintenance operation, whilst being rewarded with a competitive package and the opportunity to work across a modern Airbus and Boeing fleet.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work as a B1 or B1/B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer, performing various tasks including:

  • Certifying scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance activities.
  • Carrying out troubleshooting and defect rectification.
  • Performing line and/or base maintenance activities.
  • Ensuring all maintenance is completed in accordance with EASA Part-145 requirements.
  • Completing technical documentation and maintenance records accurately.
  • Supporting aircraft recovery and AOG activities when required.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and compliance.

Mandatory Requirements

  • EASA Part-66 B1 Licence or B1/B2 Licence.
  • Minimum of two aircraft type ratings from:
    • Airbus A220
    • Airbus A320 Family
    • Airbus A350
    • Boeing 787
  • Recent certifying experience on commercial aircraft.
  • Good understanding of EASA Part-145 maintenance requirements.
  • Good English language skills.

Desirable Requirements

  • Both B1 or B1/ B2 licence privileges.
  • Experience across both line and base maintenance environments.
  • Multiple current type approvals.
  • Previous airline maintenance experience.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including nights.

  • Salary circa €60,000 per annum (depending on experience and approvals).
  • Various shift patterns available, including night shifts.
