Asset Management Associate – Aviation & Engine MRO
Overview
We are supporting a prestigious international aviation organisation in the search for an experienced Asset Management Associate to join their growing engine services and asset management team.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced engine asset and module repair environment, supporting operational performance, engine shop execution, and asset value optimisation across the CFM56 platform.
The successful candidate will act as a key focal point for engine and module activity, coordinating with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Finance, and external stakeholders to ensure repair programmes and operational timelines are achieved efficiently.

Fluency in both English and Italian is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate CFM56 engine and module repair activity across multiple operational departments
- Support Module Repair & Exchange (MRE) programmes from induction through to reintegration
- Track engine and module status, timelines, milestones, and work-in-progress activity
- Support inspections, workscopes, and technical findings alongside Engineering teams
- Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Finance, Production, and Operations teams to maintain workflow and minimise disruption
- Present inspection findings and support approval processes for workscope changes and cost increases
- Lead material review discussions and identify cost-effective repair or exchange solutions
- Manage technical and commercial documentation, approvals, and operational reporting
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics for engines, modules, and components
- Support process improvement initiatives and operational efficiency projects
- Act as a key communication channel between internal departments, customers, and external partners
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years’ experience within aviation, MRO operations, asset management, or customer support environments
- Strong knowledge of CFM56 engines and module-level maintenance activity
- Experience working within cross-functional operational environments
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong ERP and Microsoft Excel capability
- Experience reviewing technical and financial documentation
- Flexible, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset
- Fluent English and Italian language skills (written and spoken)
- Must have the legal right to live and work within Europe
Preferred Experience
- Previous engine asset management or engine shop visit execution experience
- Knowledge of engine commercial agreements and maintenance programmes
- Customer relationship management experience within aviation or MRO environments
- Experience using Quantum or similar MRO/ERP systems
