About the Role

Our prestigious client, a leading rotary aviation company operating in Papua New Guinea, is seeking an experienced Airworthiness Manager to oversee and ensure the continued airworthiness of their helicopter fleet. This is a key leadership role responsible for maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies, while driving excellence in airworthiness and safety management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulatory authorities and continuing airworthiness regulations

  • Manage the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) functions

  • Oversee maintenance planning and execution in line with the approved maintenance program

  • Liaise with aviation authorities and support audits and inspections

  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to the engineering and maintenance team

  • Ensure that all maintenance records are accurately maintained

  • Monitor aircraft performance and reliability, driving improvements where necessary

Requirements

  • Extensive rotary-wing experience is essential – candidates without will not be considered

  • Proven background in airworthiness management or CAMO leadership roles

  • In-depth knowledge of international aviation regulations (e.g. EASA, CASA, ICAO)

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Ability to work in remote and challenging environments
