About the Role
Our prestigious client, a leading rotary aviation company operating in Papua New Guinea, is seeking an experienced Airworthiness Manager to oversee and ensure the continued airworthiness of their helicopter fleet. This is a key leadership role responsible for maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies, while driving excellence in airworthiness and safety management.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulatory authorities and continuing airworthiness regulations

Manage the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) functions

Oversee maintenance planning and execution in line with the approved maintenance program

Liaise with aviation authorities and support audits and inspections

Provide technical guidance and leadership to the engineering and maintenance team

Ensure that all maintenance records are accurately maintained

Monitor aircraft performance and reliability, driving improvements where necessary
Requirements

Extensive rotary-wing experience is essential – candidates without will not be considered

Proven background in airworthiness management or CAMO leadership roles

In-depth knowledge of international aviation regulations (e.g. EASA, CASA, ICAO)

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Ability to work in remote and challenging environments
