Aircraft Interiors Technicians (Technician / Senior Technician / Lead Technician)

Skilled Aircraft Interiors Technicians required to support a leading aerospace interiors programme.

Responsibilities

The successful candidates will join a structured interiors team across multiple levels, performing a range of duties depending on experience:

  • Supporting aircraft interiors installation, maintenance, and rework activities under supervision (Technician level)
  • Performing independent technical tasks including rework, access management, and documentation (Senior level)
  • Leading teams on large-scale aircraft interiors installation, modification, and rework programmes (Lead level)
  • Prioritising workloads, identifying issues, and escalating where required
  • Collaborating on high-volume or complex interiors programmes across various aircraft platforms
  • Communicating effectively with team members, supervisors, and external manufacturers (e.g., Boeing, Airbus)
  • Mentoring junior team members and supporting team development (Senior / Lead levels)
  • Assigning tasks, managing shift priorities, and supporting operational delivery (Lead level)
  • Maintaining a professional, positive attitude and high standards of conduct at all times

Mandatory Requirements

  • Previous experience in aircraft interiors, cabin systems, or aerospace technical environments (level dependent)
  • Strong understanding of technical procedures and engineering documentation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong communication skills and professional attitude
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and identify escalation points

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience working on aircraft interiors or cabin modification programmes
  • Experience with major aircraft manufacturers (e.g., Boeing, Airbus)
  • Previous leadership or mentoring experience (for Senior / Lead roles)
  • Exposure to large-scale rework or high-volume production environments
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Contract Type: W2 Contract
Initial Duration: 12 months (with potential extension)

Hourly Rates:

  • Technician: $30 per hour

  • Senior Technician: $44 per hour

  • Lead Technician / Coordinator: $53 per hour
