Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

This is an excellent opportunity based in the United Arab Emirates to join an established aviation engineering organisation, whilst being rewarded with a competitive package and the opportunity to work with a world-class fleet.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer performing various tasks, including:

  • Working on a continuous shift basis to provide support and instruction for both line activity and all layover maintenance requirements.

  • Providing troubleshooting assistance to MOCC and the international network during all significant AOG or out-of-service events within the ambit of maintenance data.

  • Supplying data to the engineering department and OEMs when troubleshooting guidelines have been exhausted.

  • Reviewing maintenance records, technical logs, and line station feedback to provide repetitive and recurrent defect analysis across the fleet.

  • Producing monthly statistical reports for dissemination within the organization.

  • Assuming responsibility for and providing a structured approach to resolving technical issues identified by MOCC, including complex defects and customer requests.

  • Providing on-site support at a line station during AOG recovery when required.

  • Liaising with engineering departments, OEMs, vendors, and external agencies as necessary.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification.

  • Minimum 6 years of job-related experience.

  • Ability to determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to perform tasks.

  • Strong operational control and equipment management skills.

  • Excellent comprehension of technical documentation and maintenance data.

Desirable Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a large international airline or maintenance organization.

  • Familiarity with MOCC operations and AOG recovery processes.

  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
