Sheet Metal Trainer - Part 147

We're looking for an experienced and passionate Sheet Metal Trainer to deliver technical and regulatory training for aircraft sheet metal work. You'll ensure our mechanics, technicians, and contractors are fully competent, compliant, and ready to excel in their roles.

What You'll Do

  • Assess new employees' skills and competencies in sheet metal practices before release to operations.

  • Facilitate smooth induction for all new joiners and contractors in sheet metal roles.

  • Deliver classroom and hands-on training in sheet metal procedures and best practices.

  • Develop, update, and maintain effective training materials.

  • Keep accurate records of training, attendance, and employee competencies.

  • Stay up-to-date with technical, procedural, and regulatory developments.

  • Ensure training facilities are well-equipped, safe, and fit for purpose.

  • Prepare periodic and ad hoc training reports.

  • Participate in environmental initiatives, such as energy and water conservation and waste management.

What We're Looking For

  • Instructional techniques certification and recognized Sheet Metal Apprenticeship/Training qualification.

  • Minimum 10 years of aircraft maintenance experience, including 3+ years as an instructor.

  • Strong knowledge of Part-66 / 147 regulations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Excellent public speaking and group communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Advanced English communication skills (written and spoken).

  • Willingness to travel as needed.
