We're Hiring: Automation Superintendent - LNG Maritime Operations
VHR is proud to be partnering with a prestigious client in the maritime industry to recruit an experienced Automation Superintendent to oversee the technical performance of LNG infrastructure assets.
As the go-to expert in Electrical, Instrumentation, and Automation (E/I/A) systems, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of high-value LNG vessels and assets. Key Responsibilities:
Provide daily E/I/A support to on-board teams and Technical Superintendents
Oversee E/I/A scopes for existing and new-build LNG assets
Prepare specs and supervise dry-docking and major maintenance
Execute system modifications and upgrades
Manage certification, technical budgets, and procurement
Liaise with stakeholders to ensure full compliance and operational excellence
What We're Looking For:
Master's degree in Automation or Electromechanics (or equivalent experience)
3+ years in a maritime technical role or sailing experience as an Automation Engineer
Strong knowledge of DCS, SIS, Honeywell systems
Excellent communication and project management skills
Familiarity with maritime rules and regulations
Fluent in written and spoken English
