We are seeking a skilled Galley Equipment Technician to join our clients team. In this role you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and repairing galley inserts such as ovens, beverage makers, and chillers. You will follow technical procedures and safety standards to ensure high-quality service and quick turnaround times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, test, clean, and repair galley inserts based on technical guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
- Follow repair and return procedures to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Document all maintenance activities accurately.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Comply with safety, ethics, and trade regulations.
- Suggest improvements for workplace safety and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to use MS Office and other computer systems for data entry.
- Able to read and understand technical drawings or schematics.
- Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written).
- Willing to work overtime, including weekends.
- Must follow all Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) rules and wear required PPE.
- Preferably experienced with ovens, chillers and beverage makers.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed on the production floor.
- Exposure to loud noise, adhesives, solvents and machinery.
- Frequent lifting, pushing and pulling of equipment.
