Job Title: Engineering Manager – Part 145 Maintenance Organisation

We are supporting a well-established aviation client in recruiting an experienced Engineering Manager to lead their Part 145 maintenance organisation. This is a senior leadership role, reporting directly to the CEO, and is responsible for ensuring continued airworthiness and full regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure maintenance operations meet all regulatory and safety requirements

  • Manage engineering, technical administration, and stores teams

  • Oversee facilities, tooling, equipment, and personnel to maintain aircraft airworthiness

  • Keep technical data, manuals, and compliance records up to date

  • Manage audits, outsourced services, and defect rectification

  • Lead procurement, budget control, and facility management processes

  • Report to the CEO on compliance, standards, and financial matters

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven leadership experience in aviation engineering

  • In-depth understanding of regulatory compliance (e.g. CASA or equivalent)

  • Experience managing maintenance for various aircraft types

  • Familiarity with Human Factors and workplace health and safety practices

  • Preferred experience with: Twin Otter DHC6-300, Cessna 525B (CJ3), Cessna 208B Caravan, Beech 200 B200 King Air
