Job Title: Engineering Manager – Part 145 Maintenance Organisation

We are supporting a well-established aviation client in recruiting an experienced Engineering Manager to lead their Part 145 maintenance organisation. This is a senior leadership role, reporting directly to the CEO, and is responsible for ensuring continued airworthiness and full regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure maintenance operations meet all regulatory and safety requirements

Manage engineering, technical administration, and stores teams

Oversee facilities, tooling, equipment, and personnel to maintain aircraft airworthiness

Keep technical data, manuals, and compliance records up to date

Manage audits, outsourced services, and defect rectification

Lead procurement, budget control, and facility management processes

Report to the CEO on compliance, standards, and financial matters
Candidate Requirements:

Proven leadership experience in aviation engineering

In-depth understanding of regulatory compliance (e.g. CASA or equivalent)

Experience managing maintenance for various aircraft types

Familiarity with Human Factors and workplace health and safety practices

Preferred experience with: Twin Otter DHC6-300, Cessna 525B (CJ3), Cessna 208B Caravan, Beech 200 B200 King Air
