A leading MRO in the Middle East was required to complete two B777 landing gear change programmes within an active maintenance environment. Alongside delivery, the organisation was also focused on developing less experienced engineering staff on the hangar floor, increasing both technical and operational complexity.
At the same time, in house subject matter experts were already committed to other programmes and specialist B777 landing gear expertise was limited in the local market.
