The coronavirus (Covid-19) has brought devastation to the world in recent months, with multiple millions of people, families and business affected. In times of difficulty, VHR are extending our services to support our clients, and are aiming to maintain a positive mindset about the future.

With this in mind, we are happy to celebrate VHR’s 17th birthday and proud of the achievements of our hard-working employees.

VHR Turns 17

When our Founder and CEO Danny Brooks created VHR in 2003, he envisaged a new type of recruitment agency: a company that would closely partner with client businesses, and truly benefit companies, candidates and communities.

Seventeen years later, VHR has continued to expand our services, grow our employee base and provide jobs and ethical services for thousands of clients and candidates across 52 countries.

Success in the Past Year

  • International Expansion – Incorporated in Germany and Cyprus to provide easily accessible communication and expertise for our European clients
  • New Offices – Opened our 8th and 9th offices to deliver local services across Europe and the Middle East
  • Awards – Received a total of 20 Awards, including two titles at the Recruiter Awards and being named Best Construction & Engineering Staffing Agency at the Talint Dubai Awards
  • Building the Workforce of Tomorrow – In addition to recruiting talent, VHR now create talent where it does not exist. We travel across the globe to find unskilled workers, match them to bespoke training programmes developed alongside clients, and upskill workers to benefit clients and candidates.

  • Employee Growth – Welcomed 18 new starters across departments and promoted almost 50% of our total employee base due to excellent performances
  • Events – Hosted ‘Surviving Formula One’ with former F1 driver Martin Donnelly and exhibited at the Dubai Air Show and Monaco Yacht Show
  • Candidate Networks – Grew our LinkedIn community to 50,000
  • CSR – Announced our partnership with not-for-profit Youth Employment UK and co-founded the Fair Labour Alliance to drive ethical working practices around the world.
