VHR’s Managing Director Danny Brooks is running the London Marathon next week.

This year’s London Marathon, taking place on Sunday 22nd April 2018, will welcome VHR’s team members as some of the 39,000 runners taking part in the race.
VHR’s Managing Director Danny Brooks and Divisional Director of Aircraft Interiors Ryan Abbot will be running the Virgin London Marathon in aid of individual charities.
London Marathon
The 2018 London Marathon will host a number of races to welcome runners from all backgrounds and abilities. The elite wheelchair races kick off at 8:55am, the World Para Athletics Marathon World Cup is at 9:00am and the elite women’s race is at 9:15am. The elite men’s race, British Athletics & England Athletics Marathon Championships, and the mass race commonly known as the London Marathon will start at 10am.
Danny and Ryan are running the Virgin London Marathon in aid of VICTA. VICTA supports children and young people who are blind or partially sighted and their families across the UK.
Danny and Ryan regularly compete in races for charity, including the Easter Half Marathon last weekend. Danny ran the London Marathon in 2017, finishing well under his target of a 4-hour marathon, running the race with a personal best of 3:49.27.
