Technical Records - Engines
Looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Records Engineer to join our team and help manage the complete lifecycle of assets maintenance records — covering Engine and APU assemblies.
This role is essential in making sure our technical documentation is accurate, compliant, and always ready for audits, lease returns, and airworthiness reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and control the review, validation, and buildup of technical records from approved and contracted MROs, OEMs, and Maintenance for Airframe, Engine, APU systems.
- Ensure complete Back-to-Birth (BTB) traceability management for all Engine and APU Life Limited Parts (LLPs).
- Review and ensure complete Engine and APU AD/SB compliance document buildup and management as required
- Review and verify all Engine and APU shop visit documentation, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Monitor and manage third-party technical records processing (e.g., FlyDocs), including auditing performance, discrepancy resolution, and KPI tracking.
- Support aircraft and Engine transitions, such as lease returns or ownership changes, ensuring full and timely delivery of technical documentation in line with lessor conditions.
- Ensure records are organized and readily available for Quality Assurance, Regulatory Authorities (GCAA, EASA), and lessor audits.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of documentation standards, processes, and compliance with internal safety and quality frameworks.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of job-related experience with Technical Records
- Proven experience in technical records management for Engine and APU systems, including LLP BTB traceability compilation.
- Solid understanding of aviation regulations (e.g. EASA, GCAA, FAA).
- Hands-on experience with Engine and APU shop visit documentation review, shop visit reports, and compliance with ADs, SBs and modification records.
- Familiarity with digital technical records platforms, including quality control, performance oversight, and audit preparation.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to interpret complex technical data to support fleet airworthiness and regulatory compliance.
