Job Title: Seating Engineer
Location: Dubai MRO Facility
We are looking for a skilled Seating Engineer to join our team and lead the development and improvement of aircraft seating maintenance capabilities at our Dubai MRO facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the introduction of new capabilities for aircraft seating components.
- Prepare work packs and standard procedures for maintenance tasks.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, service bulletins, and manuals.
- Review technical instructions from OEMs and monitor shop performance.
- Ensure repair activities comply with aviation regulations (Part 145).
- Provide technical training to shop floor personnel.
- Support quality control documentation, material planning, and procurement.
- Assist customer service teams with technical issues.
- Support vendor qualification, tooling design, and process audits.
- Review and suggest changes to technical publications.
- Offer technical solutions and alternatives for tooling and consumables.
- Support continuous improvement and root cause analysis activities.
- Participate in calibration and quality improvement processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience, OR
- 6 years of experience without a degree.
- Proficient in English (spoken and written).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Customer-focused mindset.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
- Project management experience.
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
- Understanding of aviation maintenance regulations (Part 145).
- Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred.
