Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work as a Financial Assistant performing various tasks including:

  • Posting purchase invoices to the company’s accounting applications

  • Raising and submitting sales invoices to customers

  • Processing payroll via the UAE WPS Wages Protection System

  • Managing petty cash, company credit cards, and related reconciliations

  • Posting supplier payments and maintaining supplier/customer records

  • Supporting bank and account reconciliation processes

  • Assisting credit control functions as required

  • Processing staff and contractor expenses

  • Identifying and reporting discrepancies in records

  • Responding to queries from contractors, suppliers, and clients

  • Undertaking filing and administrative duties

Mandatory Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in an accounts payable department

  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines

  • Professional, articulate, and well-presented

  • Self-motivated and highly organised

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics NAV

  • Experience using Sage Intacct
