As Charter Sales Manager, you will take ownership of the company's charter sales function, supporting and growing a high-urgency team focused on converting inbound charter enquiries, maximizing aircraft utilization, and delivering a premium client experience. You will collaborate closely with flight operations, owner services, and senior leadership to ensure sales performance is aligned with operational realities and company goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage charter sales activities, including quoting, negotiating, and closing charter bookings.
Build and maintain strong relationships with charter brokers, aircraft owners, and high-value clients.
Collaborate with operations and flight support teams to ensure aircraft and crew are scheduled efficiently and profitably.
Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to support strategic positioning.
Develop KPIs and reporting metrics to track sales performance and fleet utilization.
Ensure CRM and quoting platforms (e.g., Avinode, FL3XX, Leon) are accurately maintained.
Contribute to the pricing strategy and provide feedback to leadership on market dynamics.
Support or lead recruitment, training, and coaching of sales personnel as the team grows.
Drive a collaborative and performance-oriented culture between sales and operational functions.
Respond to and resolve escalated customer service issues or complaints when needed.
Ensure strict compliance with all relevant FAA regulations, company manuals, and operational policies.
What We're Looking For
Prior experience within a Part 135 or jet management environment (sales, operations, dispatch, or client service).
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive charter revenue performance.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
A proactive, solutions-driven mindset and the ability to thrive in a high-paced, detail-focused environment.
Familiarity with charter quoting and scheduling platforms (e.g., Avinode, Schedaero, FL3XX, Leon).
A strong team player who can lead through influence and example.
Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent aviation experience will be considered.
Desirable Skills
Previous leadership or supervisory experience within a charter or sales-focused team.
Working knowledge of aircraft performance, cost structures, and international trip planning.
Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
