Key Responsibilities
Product Support & Repair
Troubleshoot and repair all company products.
Assess whether products can be repaired or need replacement.
Complete all documentation for repairs, re-shipments, and RMA returns.
Configure new equipment for production use.
Apply Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to warehouse stock as needed.
Customer Support
Provide technical assistance via phone and email.
Accurately diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Communicate repair timelines and progress to customers.
Offer guidance for software upgrades and installations.
Demonstration & Event Support
Prepare and dispatch demo and loaner equipment.
Assist with booth setup and technical support for trade shows.
Travel to events or customer sites as required.
Training & Internal Support
Train internal staff, external technicians, and clients on product repairs.
Lead technical training workshops and ensure materials are up to date.
Quality & Engineering Collaboration
Report quality and service issues to engineering teams.
Provide testing and feedback for R&D and prototype evaluations.
Participate in special projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
Essential:
Technical degree in Electronics (or equivalent experience)
3-5 years of experience in electronics repair
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and travel occasionally across Europe
Manual dexterity and soldering skills (including surface-mount)
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and test equipment
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Physical ability to lift up to 23 kg
Desirable:
Knowledge of PCB and mechanical assemblies
Ability to read electrical schematics and prints
Understanding of current wiring regulations
Experience in entertainment technology or similar fields
Day-to-Day
