Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - M2

 

Our client is a leading full-service provider of airframe heavy maintenance, certified to maintain various aircraft types, including, but not limited to: ATR, DeHavilland, and Embraer.

They are looking to hire multiple AME's based in Canada, Ideally Licensed engineer who hold TR42/72, ERJ145 & DH8-200/300 type ratings.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

The Aircraft Maintenance Technician - M Licensed maintains, repairs, overhauls, modifies and tests aircraft structures and their mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.

 

TASKS

* Ensure that work performed on aircraft or components complies with manufacturer's recommended standards, Canadian Aviation Regulations, company policies and procedures, and applicable regulations (Transport Canada, FAA, etc.)

* Ensure that quarantined parts are properly labelled and routed to the correct location

* Ensure that all spare parts are inspected and certified prior to installation

* Sign all applicable forms or work files in accordance with company policies and procedures

* Assist in the training and instruction of personnel and ensure that such training is valid at all times

* All other related duties.

 

DESIRED SKILLS

* Recognized diploma in aircraft maintenance techniques or another accredited course

* M license issued by Transport Canada (FAA A&P licence would be a nice to have)

* Relevant experience in the field.
