Vice President – Supply Chain - Full time on site

Our client, a leading organisation within the aviation and MRO industry, is seeking an experienced Vice President of Supply Chain to join its executive leadership team.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this strategic leadership role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of supply chain operations, including procurement, materials planning, logistics, inventory management, and supplier performance. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving operational excellence, cost efficiency, and long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead procurement, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, and materials planning functions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and key stakeholders.
  • Drive supplier performance, cost optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure effective inventory management and material availability to support operational requirements.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to drive performance, efficiency, and accountability.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire high-performing teams across the supply chain function.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, export control, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks while supporting business continuity and operational resilience.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as CSCP, CPM, or PMP would be advantageous.
  • A minimum of 15 years' supply chain leadership experience within the aviation, airline, or MRO sector.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a proven track record of delivering operational improvements and cost efficiencies.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
