UPS FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER - M4 CORRIDOR

 

My client is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Field Service Engineer to join their UK operations.

As a specialist in power continuity, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of industry-leading Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) systems. 

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Repair: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on UPS systems, industrial battery chargers, and inverters to ensure maximum uptime for client operations.

Installation & Commissioning: Supervise and execute the installation of electrical energy continuity equipment, including precise electrical wiring and component replacement.

Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues within AC and DC systems, providing clear guidance on implementing electrical solutions.

Customer Support: Provide responsive on-site and telephone technical support to assist customers in the effective use of their instrumentation.

Documentation: Produce accurate and timely engineering reports, planned maintenance documentation, and expense reports.

Commercial Growth: Identify potential sales leads during site visits and coordinate with the sales organization to foster customer loyalty.

 

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education: ONC/HNC Electrical Engineering

Experience: Minimum of 5–9 years of experience in power transformation equipment, specifically UPS and industrial batteries.

Technical Knowledge: Proven expertise in troubleshooting electronic process control equipment and understanding technical procedures for critical power systems
