Role Purpose

Within the Fleet, Engineering & Maintenance Department (DFEM), in the Production Planning Control (PPC) team, and reporting to the Head of Outsourced Maintenance Projects, the Technical Representative is responsible for the preparation, monitoring and coordination of maintenance visits carried out by partner MROs (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul providers).


Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Visit Preparation

  • Prepare and launch outsourced maintenance visits.
  • Verify that work packages are consistent with the maintenance programme and aircraft downtime constraints.
  • Coordinate all prerequisites with MROs, including scheduling, documentation, logistics, materials supply and tooling.
  • Participate in maintenance visit kick-off meetings.

Maintenance Visit Monitoring

  • Monitor the progress of maintenance visits, either on-site or remotely as required.
  • Participate in daily maintenance progress meetings, on-site or remotely.
  • Represent the company with MROs on technical coordination and planning matters.
  • Approve work scopes, quotations for additional work and procurement requests.
  • Act as the interface between MROs and internal departments, including Production, MCC, Engineering, Supply Chain and Quality.
  • Identify risks, raise alerts regarding deviations and contribute to finding solutions.
  • Participate in functional/check flights.

Project Closure & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure complete project closure after the aircraft returns to service.
  • Verify the proper closing of maintenance visits and the updating of records in TRAX.
  • Participate in the analysis of additional work and associated impacts.
  • Contribute to post-visit reviews covering schedule, quality, costs and deliverables.
  • Participate in lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives

Profile Required

  • Experience in aircraft maintenance, technical planning or maintenance project oversight.
  • Knowledge of EASA Part CAMO and Part 145 regulations.
  • Proficiency with standard office software and IT tools.
  • Fluent English (minimum B2 level).
  • Strong ability to prioritise tasks and awareness of cost implications.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Adaptability and responsiveness when dealing with unexpected situations.
  • Ability to work independently and make recommendations.
  • EASA Part 66 Licence (B1 or B1/B2) would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of an aviation ERP system, particularly TRAX, would be appreciated.
  • Eligible to obtain an airport security badge and airside driving permit.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel for extended periods.
