VHR is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to support the establishment of a new operational facility in the UAE. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in setting up warehouse and logistics operations from the ground up, ensuring the facility is fully operational and ready to support business growth.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, including Facilities and Operations, you will lead the development of warehouse infrastructure, logistics processes, and operational standards, whilst ensuring compliance with local regulations and best practices.

• Lead the setup and commissioning of a new warehouse facility, ensuring operational readiness prior to production launch.
• Design and implement efficient warehouse layouts, storage solutions, material flows, and logistics processes.
• Establish inbound and outbound logistics operations, including international freight movements and customs compliance.
• Develop and implement warehouse procedures, operating standards, and performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with UAE health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Manage and develop warehouse personnel, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with Facilities, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to ensure seamless logistics integration.
• Oversee inventory management, material handling, and warehouse control systems.

Essential Experience

• Proven experience managing logistics and warehouse operations within the UAE.
• Strong understanding of logistics requirements within Free Zone environments.
• Experience establishing warehouse operations, including racking systems, warehouse layouts, material flow design, and operational readiness activities.
• Practical knowledge of international inbound and outbound logistics, customs processes, and Free Zone regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to create and implement operational procedures and standards.
• Strong leadership experience managing warehouse and logistics teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience supporting a warehouse start-up, greenfield site, or facility launch project.
• Background within aerospace, manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or highly regulated environments.
• Experience implementing warehouse management systems (WMS) or logistics technologies.
