AOG Desk Logistics Team Leader

Contract: Permanent
Schedule: Standard Office Hours

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the AOG Desk Logistics Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of the AOG Desk, ensuring operational disruptions are resolved efficiently.

Team Leadership & Operations

  • Lead and manage the AOG Desk team, ensuring an effective and well-organised operation.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers, subcontractors, partners, and vendors.
  • Supervise daily operational activities, including order reviews, operational meetings, and escalation management.
  • Support team members with decision-making to identify the fastest and most cost-effective sourcing solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics processes and operational efficiency.

Logistics & Supply Chain Management

  • Coordinate communication between Production, MROs, freight forwarders, MCC, and other logistics stakeholders.
  • Develop and monitor operational KPIs and performance metrics in collaboration with Supply Chain Analysts.
  • Centralise and distribute logistics data required by internal and external stakeholders.
  • Produce monthly activity reports with a focus on MEL, CDL, and HIL support activities.
  • Optimise logistics flows, freight costs, and overall desk performance.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Manage disputes and claims with logistics providers and parts suppliers.
  • Organise and lead cross-functional meetings with other logistics and supply chain teams.

Requirements

  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in aerospace procurement, logistics, or supply chain operations.
  • Previous airline, MRO, or aerospace OEM experience preferred.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Ability to interpret technical and procurement documentation, including IPC, CMM, Service Bulletins, ATA Chapters, vendor manuals, and supply contracts.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional English proficiency (minimum B2 level).
  • Fluent French language skills required.
  • Eligible to obtain an airport airside pass.
  • Proactive, autonomous, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
