VHR is proud to be supporting a prestigious aviation client in Saudi Arabia in the search for an experienced Technical Operations Writer. This is a pivotal opportunity for a technical communication professional to craft and maintain mission-critical documentation for one of the region's most advanced aviation organisations.
Role Overview:
The Technical Operations Writer will be responsible for developing and maintaining documentation under the Technical Operations Department, including but not limited to procedures, manuals, training material, and policy communications. This role directly supports compliance with GACA regulations and ensures that all technical documentation meets regulatory, operational, and internal standards.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Draft, review, and maintain company procedures, policies, manuals, and training materials related to Technical Operations
Ensure all documentation complies with applicable GACA regulatory requirements and internal document control protocols
Collaborate with internal departments to support the creation and refinement of department-specific manuals and guides
Conduct in-depth research to ensure technical accuracy and regulatory alignment in all written materials
Support senior leadership and department heads with the preparation of circulars, letters, memos, presentations, meeting minutes, and other communications
Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professional discretion in all documentation and related activities
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication or a related field, or a minimum of 3 years' experience in a technical writing or documentation role
At least 3 years of experience in a technical or technology development environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation
Experience writing for a range of audiences with varying levels of technical understanding
Skilled in collaborating with engineers, support teams, and regulatory personnel
Proficiency in presenting technical material in live environments, including classroom training or video conferencing settings
