VHR is proud to be representing a prestigious client in Saudi Arabia, currently seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join its Quality Department at a key aviation facility in Riyadh. This is a high-responsibility role offering the opportunity to shape and oversee internal audit processes that support operational integrity and regulatory compliance across one of the region's most forward-thinking aviation organisations.
Position Overview:
The Audit Manager will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the internal quality systems and audit controls. This includes reviewing internal operating practices, identifying risk areas, and ensuring that all processes meet stringent aviation regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will also lead internal audit teams, liaise with external stakeholders, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's quality management systems.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Establishing, documenting, and continuously developing a robust quality system that adheres to national and international aviation regulations
Identifying process risks and developing audit methodologies to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls
Managing quality records and supporting the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the QMS
Leading resource planning for audits, and allocating teams based on skills and availability
Producing reports that highlight operational issues and recommend corrective measures
Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for successful audit execution
Promoting health, safety, and environmental practices in line with company policy
Monitoring team performance, conducting appraisals, and fostering professional development
Advising senior leadership on trends, risks, and strategic improvements based on audit findings
Maintaining confidentiality and high standards of professionalism in all matters
Candidate Profile:
Minimum of 7 years' experience in auditing, ideally within the aviation industry
Bachelor's degree in risk management, business management, aerospace engineering, or a related field
Certified Internal Auditor and/or Certified Lead Auditor qualifications are desirable
Strong familiarity with GACARs, labor laws, and relevant regulatory frameworks
Proven ability to assess risks, conduct safety investigations, and develop comprehensive safety cases
Strong work ethic, professional integrity, and ability to work effectively within structured corporate environments
