Position Overview:

The Group Head of IT/ERP is responsible for leading the Information Technology and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) functions across the organization. This role will oversee the strategic planning, implementation, and management of IT systems and ERP solutions to support business operations, improve efficiency, and drive innovation.

The Group Head of IT/ERP will play a crucial role in driving the company's digital transformation and ensuring that IT systems and ERP solutions support business growth and innovation.

The role will be based in Dubai, UAE, but will need to spend a few months in China as soon as the person is hired, will need to travel to China and Brazil as well.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive IT/ERP strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.

Manage and lead a team of IT professionals, ensuring high levels of performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Oversee the selection, implementation, and integration of ERP systems and other IT solutions, ensuring they meet the company's needs and drive operational efficiency.

Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of all IT systems and infrastructure.

Collaborate with business leaders to identify and prioritize IT needs and projects, and develop solutions that support business growth and innovation.

Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and contracts.

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, and evaluate their potential impact on the company's IT strategy.

Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the IT team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Group Head of IT/ERP or similar role in a complex organization.

Strong understanding of IT systems, ERP solutions, and related technologies such as, but not limited to, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, Quantum by Component Control, EmpowerMx, AvSight and Oracle NetSuite.

Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business leaders and stakeholders.

A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

Certifications in relevant IT and ERP fields may be beneficial.
